Ramatu Musa has little doubt why her eldest son is deaf. He is, she alleges, a victim of an illegal drug trial in Nigeria by Pfizer, the world’s largest drug company.
“I am so bitter because he is my eldest. All my hopes were on him. I expected him to care for me when I am older,” Mrs Musa, 47, told The Times. “We are poor. I have no money to look after him. They [Pfizer] did this to him.”

Government officials from the state of Washington will be meeting this fall to decide on limits for the current 60-day supply of medical marijuana allowed for eligible patients. Just how much marijuana constitutes the 2-month supply is being questioned.
The state of Washington never set specific limits to the amount of marijuana that a patient may have in their possession.
